Break out Ed

In Te Maunga we have been doing breakouts. A breakout is a...

• Game where you have a box with 4 locks on it then...
• You have clues around your classroom then
• You have to figure out the clues and unlock the box
• You also have 45 minutes to complete the task

At the end we had 5 minutes left and two locks on the box and we made it YAYYYYY.

The prize in the box said that we get ice blocks from Mrs Lindsay. 🍦🍦🍦🍦

 I liked this activity because we collaborated really well and we got ice cream. I did well with this activity because people said I did well being a leader.   I think I could do better doing the breakout because at the end when we got the ice cream nobody said thank you. 

Inquiry

At Paihia School the seniors have done inquiry for the past 2 weeks. We had to go to 1 different teacher for half an hour each 2 days.  We had to make presentations of what we have learned. Each teacher celebrated a new celebration. Mrs Pou did halloween, Whaea Becks did New Years, Whaea Chrissy did Guy Fawkes and Mrs Neumann did Valentine's day. I learned a lot about different celebrations especially guy fawkes because I didn't even know it was a thing. I think I could of done better doing this activity because I didn't really finish them and I think I should prepared before we started.
