Bonus Activity: On your blog, tell us what you think. Should students have to pay money (tuition fees) to go to university? Why or why not?
I don't think students should have to pay for their university. But, they could work for free during their studying to help pay for their tuition fees. For example, students who are training to be teachers could teach a class once a week. This would give other teachers time to do other work and would help to make their lives a bit easier. Students studying to be vets could help in a veterinarian clinic. This would also give students some experience in the field they want to work in.
I give this 4 stars.

  2. Kia Ora Bella,
It’s awesome to see another blog from you! I think you have picked some great things to take on a hike over the Tongariro Crossing. I think it would be really important to wear a good pair of hiking boots because it is such a long hike, you don’t want sore feet halfway through? If you got the chance to hike the Tongariro Crossing. Would you?
Helen Clark made a big mark in New Zealand, she played a part in the ‘anti-smacking bill, working for families and the Kiwisaver scheme. She is the first person I can remember being a Prime Minister when I was younger. If you were Prime Minister, what would you do to make New Zealand a better place?
That’s a great idea Bella! I am currently studying to be a primary school teacher and I wouldn’t mind working in a classroom to get even more experience. Especially if it meant I didn’t have to pay expensive tuition fees!
