Recount

In Te Maunga we have been writing recounts about 1 part of our holidays. I wrote about winning a trampoline. I think I did really well writing the recount but I need to do better talking more about learning rather then talking socialy.

Here is my recount.

In the holidays I sent in a video of me jumping in the middle of my trampoline so I could win a springfree trampoline on what now. This is what happened.

Waking up to the most terrifying phone call in the world EVER. I carefully answered and a girl answered she said… “ Hello, is this Bella” I replied saying Yes. She told me that I was a finalist and could win the trampoline but then she left. :(

She called back and said you are going to have to talk live on air. That was the thing that hit my nerves. I said to her shakily “ok”. She said I have to be on hold for a little while. But it was actually 1 billion years.πŸ˜•

She called me back and said you will be talking to Ronnie in 10 minutes I almost DIED. I waited until Ronnie came onto the phone. He asked 2 questions. What happened to your trampoline and what are you going to do with your old one? I told him that me and my friends were jumping on it and the whole mat just flung off. I also said that we are going to make our old one into a chicken coop.

He seemed very surprised that the whole mat just flung off. But he was really impressed with my video that I sent in. So he said that I HAD WON A TRAMPOLINE YAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. I was very happy and thanked him a billion times. Then finally I hung up I was really glad it was over.

I was very happy and excited that I will have a springfree trampoline. 😎

Te Reo Maori

In Te Maunga we have been learning to say Maori words and sentences. We had to make a digital learning abject about what we have learn't  Me, Lucas and Tayla made a I movie about it. I think I did well making it but I need to do better focusing on my work.
Here is my Presentation.

Koru Panel

In Te Maunga for Matariki we made a koru panel. We had to draw on a 13 by 13 piece of paper. We had to draw about us or our family.  I think I did well drawing my one but I need to do better by explaining what is on my piece of paper a little bit more.

Here it is.

Hoe Reflection

In Te Maunga we have been doing a hoe reflection it is just showing what hoe you use and how. I think I did well making it but I need to do better by saying how I use the hoe.

Here is my Hoe Reflection.

Waitangi Treaty Grounds Recount

In Te Maunga we have been writing a recount about Waitangi Treaty Grounds. It didn't take me that long to finish it but it was a lot of fun. I think I did well writing this but I could do better by explaining more what I did.

Here is my writing.
   School Trip To Waitangi

Kids all zoomed off to class lining up with their drink bottles. We all sat in front of the library and waited until we could go. When we could finally go our drink bottles were half empty because of how long we were waiting. Well we were walking cars were zooming past and all the adults were shocked with the size of our senior school.

When we got to Waitangi we got into our groups and headed of with our games. The first thing our group got to do was some weaving. It was a lot of fun. We had to go over under over under over under over under over under over under over under over. At the end of the weaving it turned great. I worked with my cousin Lilli-Rose and we had a competition to see who can throw the furthest. Lilli won.

The next activity we did was Maui Matou Te Whanganui. It is a game where you have two ropes and if the caller calls out Maui then you go on the left side of the rope but if she calls out matou then you go on the right side. But if she calls out Te Whanganui then you go in the middle.  It was so much fun when we did the elimination round I won YAY.

The last activity was planting. For planting we went to the exit area and talked about different trees. We talked about what types there are and how they can benefit us. We had to get into buddies and plant 1 plant it was fun and very easy.

At the end of the day we all lined up and walked back home. When we got there all of us were hungry so the bus people were late ah oh.

Waitangi Treaty Grounds

In Te Maunga our class and the other whole senior school went to the Waitangi Treaty Grounds. We left at 12:30 and were back at 3:10 oops a little late for the bus. We did lots of cool activities there like weaving and played Maui Matou Te Whanganui.  I made a presentation about it I hope you like it. I think I did well making the presentation but I could do better because I didn't explained what else we did. 😁😁😁
Here is my presentation.
